Initial condition – The structure was completly ruined by a flood. Lower footrest was loosen. Multiple pieces broken away and missing. Main board had cracks and loosen inlay. Missing venner in several areas. Surface was completely damaged by water and bad manipulation.

The restoration process – Dismounting of the table. Cleaning and complement of missing and broken pieces. Patching of the cracks on the main board. Overall check of the inlay – complement and mounting. Cleaning of the surface finish. Retouching. Application of a new surface finish by hand French polishing (two shades). Gluing together the footrest and the main board. Final repolishing.
