Sofas
Initial condition – The whole structure of the sofa is loosen in joints. The frame is cracked and doesn’t hold in place as well as the inlaid line including the veneering. The legs are mechanically damaged and have several spots where the material is missing. The surface finish is completely ruined by improper manipulation, debris and multiple blows. The upholstery is overall damaged including the covering fabric.
The restoration process – Dismounting of upholstery including ruined springs and webbing. Structure stability check. Application of glue for the loosen veneering and the inlay. Completion of the missing spots including the bottom edges of the legs. Overall replacement of the surface finish by a new one using hand French polishing. Mounting of the new upholstery and brass springs. Complete restoration of the seat and the rest including the covering fabric and buttons.
